2021 NT National Interschool Team Announced

The 2021 NT Interschool Team was announced on Saturday night during the combined Darwin Dressage Club and Darwin Show Jumping Club Annual Awards Night.  The theme was fancy dress!

Equestrian Northern Territory (ENT) was ready to send off a strong team to the 2021 Equestrian Australian Championships, which original were scheduled to be held Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre in Victoria earlier this month.  However, after much deliberation and hope, unfortunately, due to continuation of the COVID Pandemic the event was cancelled.

For over 12 months Junior ENT Members have been tirelessly trying to achieve qualification criteria to be considered for selection as part of the NT Team.  Congratulations on the following members being selected:

• Bridie McKenna and Gelnormiston Donovan.  90cm and 100cm Secondary Jumping
• Indiana Evans and Finch Farm Just Chilled.  90cm and 100cm Secondary Jumping
• Jordyn Rayner and Kalyani Jiva.  Preliminary and Novice Secondary Dressage
• Taylor Quill and Tindara Tinkerbell.  Preliminary and Novice Secondary Dressage.  45cm and 60cm Combined Training.
• Taylor Quill and Tindara Kayno.  Secondary Show Horse

Most team members are now looking forward to the 2022 Championships which will be held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, in New South Wales during the September/October school holidays.
