EA Voluntary Administration Update

The Second Creditors Meeting will be held via an online videoconference 14 July 2020.  This meeting is very important for the future of EA, and your vote at this meeting is also very important.  Voting at the Second Creditors Meeting will determine the outcome of the way forward for EA, either allowing an independent board to be appointed or not.  It is important to note this meeting will not determine any new operational structure for EA, this will come after thorough extensive consultation with all stakeholders.

You will be able to vote in person at the meeting, prior to the meeting or by providing your proxy.

Prior to the Second Creditors Meeting the Administrators report to creditors (‘the report’) will be issued on Tuesday 7 July 2020 and will be available for download from the KordaMentha website at:

www.kordamentha.com.au/creditors/equestrian-australia-limited

The report will include:

  • The Administrators report about the Company’s business, property, affairs and financial circumstances.
  • A statement on the Administrators opinions on the options for the Company’s future and their reasons for those options.
  • Whether there are any transactions that appear to be voidable transactions under Part 5.7B of the Act.
  • Details of the proposed deed of company arrangement (DOCA).
  • Remuneration report.
  • Notice of the Second Meeting of Creditors and information on how to participate.

New proxy forms must be submitted for the Second Meeting of Creditors 14 July 2020.  Proxy forms must be submitted 12.00 pm AEST on Friday 10 July 2020.

The Administrators have arranged an online creditor portal to allow proxy forms to be submitted electronically.  Further detail on this will be provided in the report.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask them via email to [email protected] or phone 0497 303 535.  Alternatively, they can be emailed to KordaMentha at [email protected]
